Our Youth Home Team is intended for racers who have graduated from the Racer Development program and interested in moving to the next level.   Designed to grow the love of skiing and ski racing by having more time in gates and working on speed.  Experiencing racing primarily at Granite Peak Ski Area through the NASTAR Race League and the Granite Peak Cup.  These racers will have the option of participating the in the US Ski and Snowboard Central Region II Championships at Ski Brule and Afton Alps with coaching representation if interested.

Pre-season: (Aug-Nov) Scheduled 1-on-1 meeting with GPST Program Director/Head Coach Ron Lawrence.  This meeting is for parents and athletes and can be set up anytime during Aug - Nov.  

Dryland Training is Tuesdays September 8 - October 27, 2020 from 5:15-6:30 pm for those interested.

• Tuesday:  4:00 - 8:00pm
• Wednesday:  6:30 - 7:30pm Strength Training - Cross Fit Bull Falls
• Thursday:  4:00 - 8:00pm
• Friday:  4:00 - 8:00pm
• Saturday:  9:00am - 4:00pm
• Sunday:  9:00 - 4:00pm   NASTAR Race (TBA) 

Program Fees:  

• U8 - U19 - $700

This also includes Thanksgiving Camp, December Weekend Training, Freestyle, & April Skills and Thrills Camp along with coaching for any US Ski & Snowboard races held at Granite Peak and coaching at the Central Championships at Ski Brule. 

***  Once in 6th grade, athletes are eligible to race JV in the High School sanctioned races.  Representation will be provided for those interested by GPST coaching staff.
