Attention all GPST and Non-GPST ski racers:  Granite Peak Ski Team's annual Thanksgiving Camp begins Friday, November 29th.  This 3-day camp is open to all alpine race team athletes (U8-U19) throughout the Midwest and costs $75/Day (the fee does NOT include lift ticket).     NOTE:  This camp is INCLUDED for current registered GPST Members.

Athletes enrolled in Thanksgiving Camp should report by 9 AM each morning to the NEW GPST Performance Center at the top of Granite Peak Ski Area in RIB MOUNTAIN STATE PARK.  Camp will end each day at 4 PM.

If you are unable to make all three days, that is OK... but it is important to get back on your skis as soon as possible.

Camp Focus will be developing strong free skiing fundamentals and the introduction to the “GPST Way,” including early initiation of the turn, carving each turn, forward pressure, and understanding dynamic balance. There will be Directed Free Skiing Drills with one of the GPST Coaches and/or visiting Coaches.

What is Needed for the GPST Thanksgiving Camp?

  • GS suit (if you have one)
  • GS Skis (if you have SL and GS Skis)
  • Helmet & Ski Poles
  • Water bottle
  • Tennis Shoes for Morning Warmup
  • A GREAT ATTITUDE!

GPST strongly encourages our members to participate in the Thanksgiving Camp or support us through your volunteer efforts.
